Computer
Repair Training
The
proliferation of computer technology in businesses and the workplace
has created a huge demand for people that can set up, fix, and
maintain computers and related technology. This is the job of
the computer technician.
A
computer technician should be familiar with the various operating
systems (MS Windows, Macintosh, Linux) and the computer applications
they will encounter as well as how to work with computer hardware
and set up computer peripherals (printers, scanners, etc.). Courses
specifically geared to computer technicians will cover a broad
range of technologies.
CompTIA’s
A+ is one of the most common certifications and is geared specifically
towards computer technicians. Many people that earn their A+ go
on to earn more advanced certifications like the MCSE, CCNA, or
CNE.
Companies
in every industry need people that can set up and maintain their
computer technology.
