Internship & Scholarship Program
T-Mobile
USA, Inc. and the United Negro College Fund have partnered to
provide scholarships to selected students during the 2009-10 academic
year. Scholars will be invited to participate in a 10-12 week
summer internship. Scholarship dollars will be awarded to applicants
based on performance upon completion of the summer internship
in 2009. Students will be placed in the internship programs based
on locations and functions.
To be eligible
for the T-Mobile Internship/Scholarship Program, students must
meet the following criteria: Be enrolled full-time at a four year
college or university; Be a Business, Accounting/Finance, Computer
Science, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering
Computer Engineering, Human Resources or Management Information
Systems major; Have a minimum grade point average of 2.5 on a
4.0 scale; Be a junior at the time of application; and Students
supported by a single parent household are strongly encouraged
to apply for this opportunity.
Eligible majors
include: Accounting, Business, Computer Science, Finance, Business-related,
Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Management Information
Systems, Human Resources, and Telecommunications Engineering.
