AT&T Foundation Scholarship
The AT&T Foundation has announced a new scholarship program offered in conjunction with UNCF to provide scholarships for African-American children or stepchildren of regular full-time employees of AT&T, Inc. and its U.S. subsidiaries.
Eligible candidates are chosen through a highly-competitive process with each area of the application considered in the evaluation. Consideration is given to academic performance, leadership experiences, community service, honors & awards, recommendations and essays.
Applicants must be high school seniors or graduates who plan to enroll, or college undergraduates who are already enrolled, in a full-time undergraduate course of study at an accredited two or four year U.S. college or university in the fall of 2010.
Applicants must be 25 years old or younger as of February 16, 2010 and have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale. Awards are in the amount of $1,500 for students attending two-year colleges and $2,500 for students attending four-year institutions.
