NFAA’s
YoungARTS Scholarship Program
We’re
looking for talented young artists in all disciplines of the performing,
literary, and visual arts. NFAA’s youngARTS program is dedicated
to nurturing and supporting high school senior–aged artists
at this critical point in their professional development.
For
more than 25 years, we’ve sought out the best young artists
and provided support in a variety of ways. We
are the only organization that recognizes artistic excellence
in all art forms: cinematic arts, dance, jazz, music, photography,
theater, voice, visual arts, and writing.
youngARTS evaluates
students against a standard of excellence for their discipline
and age. Approximately 10 percent of the 6-8,000 annual applicants
receive scholarships and awards. Of those, up to 150 students
are chosen to participate in youngARTS Week, during which they
are brought to Miami for an all-expenses-paid week of master classes,
showcase performances, exhibitions, interdisciplinary activities,
enrichment programs, interviews, and the final auditions.
