Amtrak Travel Scholarship
Amtrak has partnered with the United Negro College Fund to provide travel awards to students attending targeted historically black college and universities across the country. This unique opportunity will allow selected students the opportunity to travel to any destination serviced by Amtrak during the period of November 2009 through November 2010.
The travel will be subject to availability however, Amtrak will not impose holiday travel restrictions, blackouts or specific travel destinations. The travel awards will not apply to sleeping accommodations and they are non-transferable.
Eligible schools include: Alabama State University, Allen University, Arkansas Baptist College, Benedict College, Bennett College, Bethune-Cookman University, Bowie State University, Cheyney University of Pennsylvania, Claflin University, Clark Atlanta University, Coppin State University, and many more.
