TV to Africa Internship At Voice of America

The TV to Africa Internship at Voice of America is open to students who are majoring or interested in television production, African affairs, and/or journalism. You must have research experience, a demonstrated interest in Africa, and communication skills and demonstrate the ability to work under pressure to be eligible for this award.

Voice of America is a multimedia international broadcasting service funded by the U.S. government. VOA broadcasts more than 1,000 hours of news, information, educational, and cultural programming every week to an estimated worldwide audience of more than 115 million people.

Internships are available in engineering, language broadcasts, public affairs, special english, TV technical studio operations, and information services.

Applications are accepted on a rolling basis. It is recommended that you submit your application six to twelve weeks prior to your desired start date.
